The Lincoln Park and DePaul University areas in Chicago are youthful, fun, and chic. DePaul University, founded by Vincentians in 1898 and with student body of over 23,000, is the largest Catholic university in the country and the largest private institution in Chicago. The Lincoln Park campus is the oldest, largest, and most active of DePaul’s eight domains.

Boasting strong sports teams. DePaul is constantly at the center of attention. Long a hallmark of the DePaul neighborhood and deriving its name from the university’s Blue Demons mascot, Demon Dogs is an infamous hot dog stand which crouches under the El tracks at Fullerton.

In the neighborhood, real estate properties take the form of townhouses and walk-ups, prices begin at $750,000. Residents include students, young families and long-time inhabitants of the area.

Oz Park, Wrightwood Park, and Wiggleyfield, the dog park, along Sheffield Avenue are among the neighborhood parks. High-end one-of-a-kind boutique shopping and array of high quality restaurants add to the exceptional standard of life that may be found in DePaul.
